The Chapter House ESV Leather Bible. After twenty years of preaching the good news of the gospel, I know there is no greater treasure than a custom handbound full-grain leather Bible. This Chapter House ESV leather Bible can be personalized with your name or initials in the bottom right-hand corner. Whether you need a gift for graduation, a wedding, a baptism, or a new leather bible just for yourself, Chapter House would be honored to craft a Bible for you.

As a full-time pastor and church planter, I've spent the last twenty years teaching God's Word to God's people. With each purchase of a Chapter House leather Bible, a portion goes back to help plant more gospel centered churches.

It's my joy to produce this heirloom leather Bible that will stand the test of time. Each leather Bible is hand-bound in Texas and features full-grain US-tanned leather. Each Bible is constructed by hand using Smyth-sewn pages to ensure durability and longevity.

Each US-sourced full-grain hide has lived a different life making each Bible truly unique. **Each hide is subject to color variations, as each hide takes the tanning process differently.

Beautiful Leather

Beautiful leather cover to a Crossway ESV Bible. I did not see it marked whether the Bible was printed in the USA, but the cover being crafted in USA (Texas) was important to my selecting this Bible. I did not like the glitter-gilt gold page edges. The very fine glitter comes off on contact and was already noticeable on the leather from shipping or production. In addition, while the leather is beautiful, as far as I can tell the bible is glued to the leather not bound in any manner on the spine of the Bible. This is acceptable if the adhesive holds up. The Bible is very nice other than these small items.

Blemished Exterior

I was really excited about this purchase, until I used it a few times. As expected, it is still stiff, but the folding is flawed and there is a blemish on the front cover that is really annoying. The company said the flaw was character and made an excuse, but for the price, I expect higher quality. The binding protrudes and so the Bible does not lay flat like the other Bibles I teach from. Overall, I am disappointed and regret the purchase.

Really beautiful leather Bible. I got mine engraved and I guess I was expecting it to stand out more since in gold but it’s black so it blends in with the Bible, but it’s still a beautiful Bible and I know my fiance will love it.

Amazing

I received my bible a few weeks ago, and the excitement I get every time I pick it up to get in the word has not diminished. The matte black leather looks amazing and the overall book/page quality is excellent. I chose the standard size and it is a nice size and the font is easy to read.

As far as customer service, I had emailed Sean a few days after I had ordered about lead-time which he responded promptly to.

Overall I am very happy with this bible and company.
